What is Psychic Awareness and Spirit Communication?

Posted by Beverley Anne Freeman on August 21, 2018 at 4:10 PM

I have been doing ‘psychic readings’ for around 20 years, I didn’t start doing readings professionally (i.e. charging people so I could make a living) until about 13 years ago. What I mean by a psychic reading is to sit with a person and with the assistance of cards tell them about themselves, their situations in current life and future predictions. I would estimate my overall success rate of predictions and accuracy at about 80%, meaning that about 80% of the time clients told me I was either accurate about the past, present or the future once it had happened. In addition to ‘psychic readings I have also communicated with spiritual realms where I have been able to provide people with relevant information about their deceased loved ones. I have done this in several ways; in the spiritualist churches giving demonstrations of mediumship, via private face to face readings with clients and over the internet and radio.

I have been teaching others how to develop for around 10 years and during this process have been learning about the process of these readings and their importance in society and the existence of the universe in general. My perception over the years has changed drastically as I have learned more about spirituality and science which studies ‘the unknown’ or non-physical realms of existence.

One thing I know for sure is that it is possible for all humans to delve into these areas of life as they are both innate and available to each of us. There are two things that will prevent a person from accessing the non-physical realms of existence which is: a lack of belief in the spiritual or in their own abilities and a lack of desire to explore these areas. Anyone who believes they can and is willing to try will develop both psychically and mediumisticly.

This is because we are made from the physical and the non-physical. The physical being the part of reality we see, feel and hear, that which we perceive to be ‘real’. The non-physical is the intangible, creative life force energy which we tend to call God or Spirit (both of which are just words made up by humans so neither having any relevance to the energy itself). To explore both psychic predictions and mediumship is to explore the realms of the non-physical which is a huge part of our existence.

Let’s start with psychic work. The psychic energy is consciousness and belongs in the ‘quantum field’ of energy. The quantum field theory (QFT) is the theoretical framework for constructing quantum mechanical models of subatomic particles in particle physics and quasiparticles in condensed matter physics. QFT treats particles as excited states of an underlying field, so these are called field quanta. In quantum field theory, quantum mechanical interactions among particles are described by interaction terms among the corresponding underlying quantum fields. To access the psychic part of a human is to access the ‘quantum’ energy of consciousness which holds within it all the knowledge and information surrounding all of existence.

If we look at theory of time and matter then we are simply just vibrational energy which looks like solid matter, therefore what we perceive to be real is actually an optical illusion. To work fully with a person’s ‘psychic energy’ is to see through the illusion of perception and into the vibrational energy of the person you are reading for. The subconscious mind already has a connection to our pure consciousness which speaks to us as intuition.

The energy vibration we resonate at (or the calibration of the energy) will feed into the non-physical realms (the universe) and look for a matching vibration, thus creating the perceived reality. This is how we subconsciously shape and create our future.

It is therefore my understanding that to successfully read for a person on a psychic level, we simply need to enter the quantum field and access the knowledge the universe holds on this person whilst accurately reading their current energy vibration which will tell us what they will create in the future. This is why we don’t need to be sat in front of a person, in the quantum field time and space do not exist, in fact nothing exists except consciousness. A person will create their future based on their energy vibration at any given time, if a person’s energy creates a dramatic shift in perception, for example, they heal from serious depression or abstain from an addiction, then the future will change. Their energy vibration will change and in affect so will their future. This is why a psychic can only give an accurate prediction based on the current energy vibration of a person. Hence, why as discussed earlier only around 80% of my predictions have been completely accurate. In some cases, only elements of the future will change in accordance to subtle changes in energy vibration.

Speaking to loved ones in spirit, I feel, is misunderstood by many. We are born from light and will go back into the light when we leave. Part of us never really leaves the light either. As the part of us which is God always remains in the light, only the human experience which is felt (the illusionary perception) resides here. Therefore that which is God, or the spirit world is nothing only pure love and consciousness, a place without physicality and individualism. When the consciousness of our loved ones connects with us (or a medium), they give us an impression so that we may know who is communicating. So you may speak to a medium who will tell you I have a gentleman here with me who is giving the name John, he looks like, such and such, he tells me such and such…. This is so that you will know who is communicating but its not an accurate description of what he looks like now. He’s more likely to look like a mass of pulsating light. When we return to pure love we go back to our original form which is ‘pure love’. Even whilst we are having this ‘experience’ we are only really ‘pure love’ it’s the true essence/form of us.

Again, to enter the place of spiritual energy is to move beyond the physical experience we call life and enter the ‘consciousness’ or ‘quantum’ realm, again knowing nothing of time and space (both human descriptions to make life ‘feel’ more real). Its completely natural here. Its who we truly are. The memory of this is what draws us near, it’s the memory of home which makes us curious of the place our loved ones now reside, the ‘memory’ of this is our intuitive guidance system. That’s why is completely natural to ‘tap’ in to this psychic and mediumistic awareness.

I have developed 2 plans to help people understand this more. Either you can develop the natural psychic and mediumship tendencies you already feel, or you can develop your spiritual self and create a better awareness of the non-physical side of your being. Both plans consist of 10 one-hour sessions via Skype video or Zoom video meeting. If you feel confused by what your experiencing or wish to create a greater awareness of it, or if you love spiritual subjects and want it to enhance your life, contact me today at

Healing Mind or Medicine?

Posted by Beverley Anne Freeman on August 16, 2018 at 1:05 PM

There has been a huge focus on healing yourself with the power of the mind and I wanted to delve deeper into this subject. I am a great believer in the power of the mind and also the creative force of God or source energy to produce anything in this current experience we are having. I believe we have the power to heal anything in our life, whether it be the body, our mind, relationships, financial abundance, etc. We have the power to change, that which we created.

A huge question though is why do we create illness and at what point? In addition, why would a child suffer/create illness or abuse and at what point is it created? Are we completely responsible for this life we are living? Can we blame things such as cancer on the food we eat, genetics or our environment? Is all cancer or illness caused by stress and fear? These questions although scary, should be brought into the forefront of spiritual teachings, these after all are the fundamental issues which we should be addressing as a race.

I like to think I have a high level of understanding of the laws of attraction, the manifestation process and the spiritual concepts which make up the belief systems that the universe ‘creates’. I am an elementary student of “A Course in Miracles” and take time to, not only study and learn from the resources available to us in the physical but also, to converse and blend with God on a daily basis to learn more. However, the questions above are never really clearly defined, only touched upon with explanations that to believe, mean that we must accept that by nature human beings are as ‘self-destructive’ as they are ‘self-loving’.

Let’s look at the universal principles and the brains ability to create. Most of us by now know that we are creating our lives based on our thoughts and feelings. The thoughts and feelings we have affect our brain waves, which create our energy vibration. Our energy vibration is alive with creativity and is an infinite power (meaning it has no end), the vibrations we give off move into the world, seeking out other vibrations that are a match, meeting up like old friends and excitedly creating new things together. This is how we shape our lives and bring forth experiences which we ourselves give meaning to. We have the ability to perceive every experience as either good or bad, the universe does not have opinion, only we can decide if an experience is enjoyable or not.

If we think positive or negative we create more of it as the energy vibration from these thoughts go out into the universe and seek out more of the same. Fear creates more fear, etc. Our body is a physical representation of our soul in the physical reality and therefore responds, reflects and re-iterates what is going on in you. It’s the subconscious mind which will be the control room of the body. If a child experiences suppression of say their voice, it could be that the same adult will then create a ‘fear’ of speaking up, the physical representation could be a thyroid issue or throat cancer. If the control room (the subconscious mind) can create the condition, then it almost certainly has the power to take it away.

So, to believe we can heal anything with the mind is also to believe we create that which we do not want. This actually upholds a massive responsibility on us as individuals, but it is also a ‘mass consciousness’ responsibility as well.

Let’s use cancer as the example, simply because its one of the prominent concerns at this moment (however, the same principle can be applied to any condition of the mind or body). Cancer is on the news, cancer is on the radio, cancer is on the wall in the waiting room, cancer is on social media, cancer runs in the family; go for a check-up, give generously, check for lumps, he/she died of cancer…..on and on is this culture of the word cancer. Cancer is a word, made up by humans but we have given it a meaning ….cancer could mean ’a death sentence’, or a challenge, it could mean

chemo, going under the knife, well its whatever meaning you give to it. If you told a child cancer was a chocolate bar, they wouldn’t know any difference. So, its not the word ‘cancer’ it’s the fear it creates which activates a response in the mind and the body. The world is actually creating a fear, a perception and in turn its creating more cancer in the world. If you happen to bring cancer into your physical experience, then you have to be a vibrational match for it on some level. Otherwise it wouldn’t be in your experience at all.

“There is a greater belief in the world today that cancer kills, than there is in the power of God to heal.” Marianne Williamson.

Its very interesting that when genes were studied in relation to cancer, not only children of the biological parents developed cancer but adopted children also developed cancer within the same family. In actual fact, cancer isn’t contagious, thoughts are. It has been discovered that genetics are not responsible for illness running in blood lines, but belief patterns within the family.

Children do not create chronic illness, adults do. It’s a response to a collective thought process in the human race today. We are all responsible for the next generation, not just those with children. That’s why its so important that as a race we take responsibility for our thoughts, perceptions and actions. The only way to stop children being born with cancer, HIV, and other such horrific conditions is to change our perception from Fear to Love. Treating not only yourself with kindness and compassion but those around us is the only way to eradicate human suffering. It’s the individual where we start, but it’s the collective where it will make the biggest difference. Since there is no place where I start, and you end we are all in this together. ‘Infinite’ doesn’t mean I stop with people who believe what I believe, or people who are the same colour, those who have table manners or don’t swear… ‘infinite’ means no end. To end suffering and illness in the world means to extend love to all.

Can someone with MS, fibromyalgia, arthritis, cancer, thyroid, diabetes, lyme, etc, etc. cure themselves with their mind? Yes, they can. I actually thought that understanding where it came from was the first step to healing, but to be honest, its really more about reprogramming the mind to health than understanding the illness. The first step is to take away the power from the illness and give the power back to yourself as the creator of the illness. Then its important to love every part of yourself, including the illness and the symptoms. The next part is the reprogramming back to health, this can take time but with love, compassion and kindness to yourself from the inside out, all things can be healed.

Medicines can also be important in the healing process if they help you to believe that healing is occurring. If a person developed a tumour, it maybe that they wish it to be removed before they start the self-healing process further. The reason for this, is that in their own mind, the tumour must be cut out of the body to find the necessary peace to move forward. However, it’s not entirely necessary. Working with a coach to help with the mind reprogramming can work with the assistance of medical intervention, although the mind has the power to heal the body alone. The real focus here, should not be about healing but wellness. Create a healthy relationship with yourself and healthy things occur in your life.

The secret behind 'The Secret'

Posted by Beverley Anne Freeman on July 16, 2018 at 12:00 PM

The Secret Behind ‘The Secret’

Many people read ‘The Secret’ in awe, bringing forth this new revelation into their lives. A secret to a bigger house, a faster car, an amazing new job and the perfect relationship. The steps were simple, repeat affirmations, create a vision board and think positive.

It worked for some; the big house, the car, the relationship and the promotion. For others it wasn’t so easy. Some people no matter how hard they tried, affirmed and glued their vision boards together, they still didn’t get what they asked for. The universe just wasn’t listening……..or so it seemed.

Let me enlighten you on something, whether you get what you ask for or you don’t, the real question should be are you happy? Why would gaining all those things you asked for not make you happy? Well, because the ‘law of attraction’ means that you always get more of what you put out. If you are asking for ‘stuff’ you will create ‘more asking’, if you keep on asking, you create ‘more want’ and if you create ‘more want’ you get more ‘lack’. In other words, if you ‘want more’, you ‘lack more’. What you are very effectively creating is discontentment.

The ‘law of attraction’ and ‘the secret’ are correct in what they teach but the way in which it is taught is inevitably going to have you running around in circles of creation. These circles of creation will create a feeling of dissatisfaction, of never having enough or in the case of those who have failed to manifest very little, complete despondency. Despondency is a dangerous place to be because it is a fear-based emotion which can grow into dis-ease of the physical world.

It’s important to understand the dynamics of creation and the existence in which we are having this physical experience. The whole of the physical world is made of vibrating molecules which are made up of indivisible atoms. The atoms are vibrating at a frequency which our receptors in the brain evaluate with a sophisticated ‘memory code programme’, this in turn creates how we see the vibrating atoms. This all happens rather quickly so we see a bunch of vibrating atoms and our memory bank tells us ‘it’s a coffee table’. However, if our memory bank told us it was a sofa, since we would have no reason to doubt our memory bank, that is the experience we would have. Therefore, the whole world is based on what our perception of it is. Our perception gives meaning to the world around us based on our past experience or memory bank. If we have no previous memory of something, then we either learn about it or attach it to the nearest memory we can. In fact, all of the physical world is simply that which we give meaning to and is therefore much more illusionary than reality.

This should help you to understand that its our perception of the physical world that creates our reality and makes the things around us believable. These ‘believable’ images around us create feelings towards the perception, which in turn works with the creative life force energy (which is our ‘true self’) to continue to create ‘the experience of life’. The experience we have which we call life, although appears to be shared is actually our own based on the that which we create through our illusionary perception. Remember those vibrating atoms? In a nut shell ‘we’ create the life we have based, on our thoughts, feelings, passed experiences and creative life force energy. Therefore, as described in ‘The Secret’ we ARE capable of creating anything which we wish to bring in this ‘experience’ we are having, although from a deeper perspective than which the secret would have us believe.

Unfortunately, the information in ‘The Secret’ was well intentioned but was huge mis-education to many people who started to ‘manifest’ the material things they desired. These people are now in one of two places:

a. They got more discontent, manifested more ‘lack’, more ‘need’ and more ‘desire’; subsequently giving up on ‘The Secret’ entirely.

b. They had measured success, continued to investigate manifestation on a deeper level and are either on the journey towards or have discovered the truths of manifestation and abundance.

The secret behind ‘The Secret’ lies not in the understanding of the laws of the universe but the knowing that you ARE the universe. When you understand fully that you are not just inherently a creative being but are in fact an extension of all creation, you can fully appreciate your power. When you understand your power you also understand the responsibility which goes hand in hand with that power.

It actually puts theories like ‘fate’ and ‘if its meant to be, it will be’ and ‘whatever is God’s will’ completely out the window and down the garden path.

You can begin to understand that you create it all; from the bed your sleeping in, to the brand of toothpaste you use, the bus driver who takes you to work and your conversation with the receptionist as you arrive. Are you creating from a place of love, peace, gratitude and stillness? Or are you creating from greed, fear, lack, guilt and shame? Most people flip between the two places which is why they have a ying and yang experience of reality.

Understand that your outer world is a reflection of your inner world and you can start to appreciate that the self-destructive relationship, the boring job, the bills that need paying and that little baby which makes you smile, all come from your ying and yang belief systems.

People talk about default and conscious creation. It’s my belief that we create by default 100% of the time. Always creating from the heart means that what ever your heart is filled with is what will come out, thus creating your physical experience.

What does this mean for you? It means what you fear it means… it means that you are creating by default based on your inner world and deep-seated beliefs that you hold about yourself and the world around you. So, if you suffered abandonment, neglect, trauma – your world is most likely in trouble.

Doing the work to heal your inner world is the only way to create joy and happiness in your physical reality. It takes work and a willingness to let love in and is a far cry from affirmations and a vision board.

What I am suggesting is that if you look at the deepest, darkest place within yourself and then send love and light to those places you will indeed start to allow love and light into your physical reality. I’m talking about facing your fears, practicing forgiveness and giving unconditional love to all places in your mind. Its only by understanding that you are the unconditional love you seek will it start to show up in your life.

I was walking up hill with a heavy shopping bag, I was tired and hot. I felt for a moment detached from my physical body. I felt transported into the clouds and then I heard God’s voice (or what I perceived to be God’s voice) and its said to me “You are enough”. Of course, in that moment of complete clarity I realised that, I am enough! I can’t truly ever need or want more than what I have got in this present moment, because if I truly needed something I would have it. The feeling of wanting more is actually an illusion created by my own false self.

The real secret behind ‘The Secret’ is that you will always create from internal, from true self, from the heart and never will you create from your false perception. Which is why when people want to manifest winning the lottery, if they do not feel truly deserving or truly at peace with winning the lottery it will not happen. If you wish to manifest money you have to go deep within your self and heal any feelings of unworthiness you have ingrained within you. If you wish to create a mutually loving and beneficial relationship, you need to heal the way you are loving yourself and if you wish to create a family then you have to forgive anyone who broke your trust. We manifest our lives from the inside out. This is the true secret, that which is not really a secret at all, but indeed a divine truth. If you wish to create perfect health, wealth, love and happiness then you have to be all those things inside. You have to love your body, let go of all fears of money and material possessions and know that you truly deserve happiness. As God is manifested within you, so shall you be.

What was it like training with Dr Brian Weiss?

Posted by Beverley Anne Freeman on February 28, 2018 at 6:20 AM

As a traditional psychotherapist, Dr. Brian Weiss was astonished and skeptical when one of his patients began recalling past-life traumas that seemed to hold the key to her recurring nightmares and anxiety attacks. His skepticism was eroded, however, when she began to channel messages from “the space between lives,” which contained remarkable revelations about Dr. Weiss’s family and his dead son. Using past-life therapy, he was able to cure the patient and embark on a new, more meaningful phase of his own career.

A graduate of Columbia University and Yale Medical School, Brian L. Weiss M.D. is Chairman Emeritus of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami. Dr. Weiss conducts national and international seminars and experiential workshops as well as training programs for professionals.

I participated in a 4 day training programme with Dr Brian Weiss in London in 2015 where we learned much more about past lives and past life regression therapy. Having read all his books starting around 1995 to the present time, I was excited to train with the doctor. I qualified in Clinical Hypnosis in 2016 shortly after completing the course.

The 4 days were filled with regressions, stories of regression from the Doctor and exercises to aid 'experiences'. I myself had 4 or 5 past life experiences, extremely vivid and emotional. Some were ordinary lives but which still had a profound affect on my soul, another one saw me witness the crucifixion of Jesus. What became apparent was not so much the lives themselves, but my feelings towards them. It was in understanding my feelings that the 'therapy' occurred.

The Benefits of Past Life Regression Therapy

The benefits of past life regression therapy (PLRT) are numerous and often transformative. PLRT can heal deeper and get results much more quickly than many other therapeutic approaches.

Here are just a few of the advantages you can realize:

Clear emotional stress, trauma and physical issues

Calm feelings of anxiety and/or depression

Heal troubled relationships

Understand and change behaviours, patterns and tendencies

Uncover dormant past life gifts and talents and actualize those in this life

Reveal past life souls you know from this life

Mentally, emotionally and spiritually unify past life experiences with your soul’s life lessons

Reconnect with your Spiritual Centre

Receive spiritual guidance and direction

Experience universal wisdom and peace not always available to us in our Earthly bodies.

The Goal and the Process

Everything you’ve seen, felt and experienced in this life…as well as all the memories of your previous existences are housed in your subconscious…and then brought to light in your current consciousness during this process.

Even if You’ve Forgotten, Your Body Remembers

One of my past life therapy clients was a 68 year old man suffering with chronic pain in his left leg. This pain in his leg had been troubling him for years.

In our work together, he visited a past life in which he was a German soldier injured during the Franco-Prussian war. In an attempt to save his life, they cut off his leg, but he died shortly afterward in excruciating pain. That experience imprinted itself on his unconscious and manifested itself as a troubling pain in his leg in his current life. There was no organic origin for the pain in this lifetime.

That leg pain began mysteriously in his late 20’s. During his regression therapy session, he realized he was about the same age when injured in his past life. This often happens. An issue carried forward from a past life may not surface until the age of impact in the past life.

With that past life memory in his consciousness, he was able to recognize that the pain and the event were in the past and had nothing to do with his current life.

Almost miraculously, the pain that had bothered him most of his adult life was 90% gone. There is a good likelihood that there is another lifetime in which his leg was injured. If he continued to do PLRT work, and uncovered that lifetime, there’s a good chance he could be rid of the remaining 10%.

Traditional Therapy Doesn’t Always Work

When conventional therapy doesn’t work, there may be one simple reason. The therapist is looking for the trauma or problematic event (that caused the psychological issues) in the wrong place--or should I say time.

Almost every type of therapy assumes that traumas and important events from an individual’s past influence the present.

PLRT assumes that as well, the only difference is that the unconscious mind goes beyond this lifetime. It carries forth the events and repercussions from events that go beyond early childhood, prenatal and birth periods right into past existences.

You can see how it can be difficult to find the triggers if you don’t search back far enough. PLRT finds the root causes and therefore heals more deeply and quickly than traditional therapies.

When Past-Life Therapy Can Help

The release of old energetic blocks generates a flow of wonderful mental and emotional clarity, revealing the life-lessons needed to achieve happiness in this lifetime, while also advancing the course of future lifetimes.

Some of the more significant areas in which past-life therapy have traditionally been used are:

Troubling behaviour and attitude patterns that have persisted over time, despite attempts to change

Relationship dynamics that seem to have a life of their own (intense attraction/aversion to another person, deep-seated issues that defy resolution)

Phobias – intense fears, such as fear of heights or fear of water, that seem unconnected to an experience in the current life

Some chronic physical ailments, sensations and pains

Dominant attitudes or emotions that seem to persist throughout your life

Ingrained beliefs such as: “Leave me alone”, “No one understands me”, “Life isn’t fair”, “I have to do it alone”

There are other exciting ways in which past-life therapy is being applied.

We focus on the positive, rather than going after traumatic or troubling memories. PLRT is used to enhance one’s life by allowing individuals to ‘own,’ reclaim or rediscover gifts, abilities and talents from past lives; and to carry forward wonderful emotions for both healing and growth.

It Helps in Rewarding Areas as Well!

Accessing strengths and accomplishments from prior lifetimes can be brought forward to increase confidence and effectiveness in the present.

Re-experiencing a happy, successful lifetime; this can bring a sense of balance and peace when undergoing difficult times, fortifying us to work through our temporary difficulties

Clarifying direction and life purpose by viewing one’s ‘blueprint’ for this lifetime

Finding prior lifetimes shared with current loved ones, bringing a great sense of reassurance that we are indeed never parted from those we love

Accessing the wisdom, peace and guidance that is available from the spiritual realms between lifetimes where our higher mind and/or guiding ones can assess our progress and give direction to us for our current lifetime

Strengthening the clarity of the spiritual nature of our existence.

When you think about it, it’s freeing. Past life regression can bring you peace as it shines a light on the complicated tapestry of your total existence and your purpose as an evolving soul.

Life makes a lot more sense when you have a deeper understanding of the bigger picture.

Health Goals for 2018?

Top Health Tips for 2018

So how many of you have decided that one of your new year resolutions for 2018 will be to engage in a health kick? Lots of you right? You maybe aware that in 2017 I completed my levels 4 & 5 in Nutrition and completed my Personal Training Level 3 certificate. I also engaged in a personal journey of healing with diet and fitness, overcoming thyroid and high blood sugar health issues. For me the journey continues daily, but I have learned a few things along the way. I have listed my top health tips to help you reach your goals for 2018. Use all of them daily or cherry pick your favourites!

1. Forget fad diets and ensure your diet has a balance of proteins, fats & carbohydrates but choose these carefully to ensure your feeding your body not feeding disease.

Below is a list of great sources of all three:

All Fish

Shell Fish

Lean Beef

Nut Butters

*Choose Organic, grass fed meat Peas

Root Vegetables such as; carrots, Parsnips

Bulgar Wheat

Buck Wheat

All greens

Full fat Greek yogurt

Olive Oil

Coconut Oil

Grass Fed Butter

Nut Oil

Oily Fish - salmon, mackerel

Dark Chocolate & organic Coco

2. Try eating within an 8 hour period, allowing for a daily 16 hour fast which has been found in scientific studies to improve over all health and energy levels (The 8 hour diet by David Zinczenko is a great book).

3. Eat 5 small potions per day, try preparing meals in advance and ensure you have healthy snacks on hand to avoid reaching for sugar filled snacks between meals. Things like hard-boiled eggs, a stick of cucumber or a hand full of nuts are good to have readily prepared to snack on if you feel peckish.

4. When eating out choose protein rich meals and ask for vegetables or salad on the side instead of chips, potatoes, pasta or rice. Say no to the complimentary bread roll at the start of the meal.

5. Drinks can be lethal, and you may not be aware of how many calories per day you are consuming in what you drink, My Fitness Pal App is a great way of tracking your micros and calorie consumption. For example, a coffee with milk is around 20 - 40 calories where as a Starbucks Latte is around 187 calories. Avoid fizzy drinks at all cost as they are full of sugar or artificial sweeteners, both of which are not good for you. Try fizzy mineral water with lime juice squeezed into it and a slice of cucumber as an alternative.

6. Start your day with boiling water, add a slice of lime, a cap full of raw organic mother apple cider vinegar and a sprinkle of sea salt, drink this every morning before you consume anything else.

7. Sprinkle cinnamon onto food to help control blood sugar.

8. Avoid 'white' foods which have been bleached such as white pasta and flour including white bread, this is especially true if your trying to shed body fat. Avoid white sugars and corn syrup as they serve no nutritional purpose in your diet, increase hunger and cause long term health problems.

9. Have relaxing baths at least twice a week. Add lavender, Epsom salts and Himalayan sea salt to baths before bed.

10. Vitamin supplements can be great and although you should aim to get all your nutrients from your food first, there are some essential vitamins and minerals you may wish to supplement. Choose a good organic brand without added ingredients. Multi vitamins rarely cover the correct amounts of each element so its better to take individual supplements.

Vitamins & Minerals

Slow release Vitamin C

Vitamin B complex

Omega 3, 6 & 9

Vitamin D3 (known as the happiness pill)

Branch Chain Amino Acid supplement

11. Probiotics and Prebiotics ensure a healthy gut and can be found in one capsule; I recommend Innopure brand from Amazon. Digestive enzymes are also a great way to ensure gut health, take one before meals.

12. Exercise daily doing whatever it is you enjoy, make time for some kind of body movement every day. Gym, weight training, yoga, Pilates, dancing, cycling, swimming, running, walking are all great forms of body movement. If you struggle; run up and down stairs for 20 mins every day, start by doing 5 mins and gradually build it up. If you don’t have stairs, take a brisk walk round the block for 20 mins daily.

13. Be careful of the sugar content in smoothies. Make your own and try using lots of vegetables for sweetness rather than fruit as these contain more sugar than recommended.

14. Smile - it’s a great facial exercise and being happy and thinking positive thoughts add massively to your overall well being.

Can Science Prove Spirituality is Real?

Posted by Beverley Anne Freeman on February 11, 2018 at 10:15 AM

Can Science Prove Spirituality is Real?

So I was sat in a cafe the other day and got chatting to a quantum physicist; we got into a conversation of the theory of quantum physics proving that unknown realms exist. So can science prove the existence of other spiritual practices? Here's what my research found.....

The Science Of Spirituality: 7 Studies That Prove Being In Tune With Yourself Changes Your Life

To be spiritual is to value your mental and emotional experience more than you do your physical one. Though may conjure images of crystals and incense and slow, velvet-sounding talk of world peace, there is a ton of research that backs up the practical importance of spiritual practice.

1. Meditation physically changes the brain.

Harvard studies concluded that practicing meditation increases the density of grey matter in your brain – the cell bodies that govern muscle control and sensory perception such as seeing, hearing, memory, emotions, speech, decision-making, self-control, etc. These changes affect your memory, sense of self, ability to empathize, and cope with stress, among other things.

2. Positive thinking has been shown to increase opportunities in life.

Barbara Frederickson’s benchmark research on positive psychology found that consciously choosing to focus on the positive and therefore, inducing positive emotions each day not only improved quality of life, but external opportunities as well. She argues that positive psychology is actually a mind-training practicing that aims to intervene on the “hedonic treadmill effect,” which the idea that we return to a “baseline” happiness despite major positive or negative life changes. Essentially: you can re-write your inner “shift” and change your overall emotional experience for the better.

3. Being outside in nature changes the way you think.

Studies show that people who are outside more often (or who do not live in heavily populated cities) have lower levels of stress hormones and less activity in their subgenual prefrontal cortex, the part of the brain that governs abnormalities in mood disorders. This is because people who are outside more often think differently – they have less external stimuli to remind them of something to brood over.

4. Deep breathing affects the heart, brain, digestion, immunity, and possibly even the expression of genes.

While it would make sense that deep breathing is your body’s built-in stress-reliever it also creates far more physical change than just a sense of calmness. Deep breathing is associated with improvement in heart function, digestion, the immune system, and even gene expression. Though the research is new, the practice isn’t: the yogi term for deep breathing, pranayama, means to control the life force and affect the body and mind.

5. Happiness is a collective phenomena: our emotional states are driven and created by those whose energies we are “open” to.

It’s easy to recognize how happy and unhappy people cluster together – whether socially or culturally. But longitudinal statistics suggest that these “groupings” are actually the result of the way happiness “spreads” between those we are open to having an emotional connection with. When we are receptive to other people’s energy (if you will) it changes our own. Research has shown this as the effects of connectivity creating happiness fades with time and separation, and does not apply between co-workers (to whom you do not have a personal connection).

6. Emotional intelligence is the key to personal and professional success.

Working on your emotional intelligence is the route to the success you desire – even when it doesn’t seem as though ‘emotion’ has anything to do with it. Being emotionally intelligent is to be able to perceive, use, understand and manage emotions, and both makes you receptive enough to respond to others (making you more aware of interpersonal relationships both at home and in the workplace).

7. Materialism has a direct link to low self-esteem; minimalism and simple living are associated with increased mental and physical well-being.

Spiritual practice traditionally rejects materialism in favor of something more ‘real,’ and science backs up the idea that physical items are in fact emotional buffers for dealing with a lack of self-esteem. People who live simply and minimally report an overall better quality of life as they are focused on what is truly important to them, and people who value money and possessions over other things are significantly more depressed

Grapefruit Study

Health Focus - The Amazing Benefits of Grapefruits!!

Grapefruit is a tropical citrus fruit known for its sweet and somewhat sour taste.

It's rich in nutrients, antioxidants and fibre, making it one of the healthiest citrus fruits you can eat.

Research shows that it may have some powerful health benefits, including weight loss and a reduced risk of heart disease.

Here are 10 evidence-based health benefits of grapefruit.

1. It's Low in Calories, Yet High in Nutrients

Grapefruit is an incredibly healthy food to include in your diet. That's because it's high in nutrients, but low in calories. In fact, it's one of the lowest-calorie fruits.

It provides a decent amount of fibre, in addition to more than 15 beneficial vitamins and minerals.

Here are some of the major nutrients found in half of a medium-sized grapefruit

Calories: 52

Carbs: 13 grams

Protein: 1 gram

Fibre: 2 grams

Vitamin C: 64% of the RDI

Vitamin A: 28% of the RDI

Potassium: 5% of the RDI

Thiamine: 4% of the RDI

Folate: 4% of the RDI

Magnesium: 3% of the RDI

Additionally, it is a rich source of some powerful antioxidant plant compounds, which are likely responsible for many of its health benefits

2. It May Benefit Your Immune System

Eating grapefruit regularly may be beneficial for your immune system.

It's prized for its high content of vitamin C, which has antioxidant properties known to protect your cells from harmful bacteria and viruses

Additionally, several studies have shown vitamin C to be beneficial for helping people recover more quickly from the common cold

Many other vitamins and minerals found in grapefruit are known to benefit immunity, including vitamin A, which has been shown to help protect against inflammation and several infectious diseases.

Grapefruit also provides small amounts of B vitamins, zinc, copper and iron, which all work together in the body to promote immune system function. They also help maintain the integrity of your skin, which acts as a protective barrier to infection.

3. May Promote Appetite Control

Grapefruit contains a decent amount of fibre — 2 grams in half of a medium-sized fruit

Research shows that a diet high in fibre-rich fruits is beneficial for inducing feelings of fullness. This is because fibre slows the rate at which your stomach empties, increasing digestion time.

Thus, consuming adequate amounts of fibre may automatically help you eat fewer calories throughout the day by keeping your appetite at bay.

4. It Has Been Shown to Aid Weight Loss

Grapefruit is a weight loss friendly food.

It has several properties linked to weight loss, especially its fibre content, which helps promote fullness and reduce calorie intake.

Additionally, grapefruit contains few calories but lots of water, which is another characteristic known to help with weight loss.

One study in 91 obese subjects found that those who consumed half of a fresh grapefruit before meals lost significantly more weight than those who didn't.

In fact, those in the group that ate fresh grapefruit lost an average of 3.5 pounds (1.6 kg) over 12 weeks, while the participants in the group that didn't eat grapefruit lost less than 1 pound (0.3 kg), on average.

Other studies have found similar weight-reducing effects. For instance, one study found that participants experienced a reduced waist size when they consumed grapefruit daily with their meals

This isn't to say that grapefruit will produce weight loss on its own but adding it to an already healthy diet may prove to be beneficial.

5. Grapefruit May Help Prevent Insulin Resistance and Diabetes

Eating grapefruit regularly may have the potential to prevent insulin resistance, which can lead to diabetes.

Insulin resistance occurs when your cells stop responding to insulin.

Insulin is a hormone that regulates many processes in your body. For example, it's involved in many aspects of your metabolism, but it's most commonly known for its role in blood sugar control.

Insulin resistance ultimately leads to higher insulin and blood sugar levels, two primary risk factors for type 2 diabetes.

Eating grapefruit may help control insulin levels and thus can reduce your likelihood of becoming insulin resistant.

In one study, subjects who ate half of a fresh grapefruit before meals experienced a significant reduction in both insulin levels and insulin resistance, compared to the group that didn't eat grapefruit.

Furthermore, eating fruit as a whole is generally associated with better blood sugar control and a reduced risk of type 2 diabetes.

6. Eating Grapefruit May Improve Heart Health

Regularly consuming grapefruit is thought to improve heart health by reducing risk factors for heart disease, such as high blood pressure and cholesterol.

In one study, people who ate grapefruit three times daily for six weeks experienced significant reductions in blood pressure over the course of the study. They also showed improvements in total cholesterol and "bad" LDL cholesterol levels.

These effects are likely due to the important nutrients that grapefruit contains, which play a role in keeping your heart functioning properly.

First, grapefruit is fairly high in potassium, a mineral responsible for many aspects of heart health. Half a grapefruit provides about 5% of your daily potassium needs.

Adequate potassium intake is associated with a reduced risk of high blood pressure. Additionally, it has been shown to lower the risk of death from heart disease.

Second, the fibre in grapefruit may also boost heart health, given that a high fibre intake is associated with lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

Overall, researchers claim that including fibre and antioxidant-rich fruits like grapefruit as part of a healthy diet helps protect against conditions like heart disease and stroke.

7. It's High in Powerful Antioxidants

Grapefruit contains a few different antioxidants that provide various health benefits, including a reduced risk of several diseases.

Antioxidants protect your cells from damage caused by free radicals, which are unstable molecules that may cause harmful reactions in your body.

Here's an overview of the most important antioxidants in grapefruit:

Vitamin C: A powerful, water-soluble antioxidant that is present in high amounts in grapefruit. It may protect cells from damage that often leads to heart disease and cancer.

Beta-carotene: It's converted into vitamin A in the body and thought to help reduce the risk of some chronic conditions, including heart disease, cancer and eye-related disorders like macular degeneration.

Lycopene: Known for its potential ability to prevent the development of certain types of cancer, especially prostate cancer. May also help slow the growth of tumours and decrease the side effects of common cancer treatments.

Flavanones: Their anti-inflammatory properties have been shown to reduce blood pressure and cholesterol levels, reducing the risk of heart disease.

8. May Reduce the Risk of Kidney Stones

Consuming grapefruit may reduce your risk of developing kidney stones, which result from a build-up of waste materials in the kidneys.

These waste materials are products of metabolism that are normally filtered through the kidneys and removed from the body in urine.

However, when they crystallize in the kidneys, they become stones. Larger kidney stones may cause a blockage in the urinary system, which can be incredibly painful.

The most common type of kidney stones is calcium oxalate stones. Citric acid, an organic acid found in grapefruit, may be effective at preventing them by binding with calcium in the kidneys and flushing it out of the body.

Also, citric acid can increase the volume and pH of your urine, producing an environment that is less favourable to the formation of kidney stones.

9. Very Hydrating

Grapefruit contains a lot of water and is, therefore, very hydrating. In fact, water makes up most of the fruit's weight.

There are almost 4 ounces (118 ml) of water in half of a medium grapefruit, which accounts for about 88% of its total weight.

While drinking lots of water is the best way to stay hydrated, eating water-rich foods can also help.

10. Easy to Add to Your Diet

Grapefruit requires little-to-no preparation, so it's easy to add to your diet.

Even if you live a busy, on-the-go lifestyle, you can still enjoy grapefruit on a regular basis without worrying about it taking up too much of your time.

Here are some ways you can enjoy grapefruit:

Snack on grapefruit slices alone.

Eat it as an alternative to unhealthy dessert foods.

Blend it into this smoothie with other fruits and veggies.

Include it in a healthy breakfast parfait like in this recipe.

Grapefruit Is Not for Everyone

There are a few reasons why some people may need to avoid eating grapefruit.

Medication Interactions

For some people, consuming grapefruit and its juice may lead to medication interactions (44).

This is because it contains substances that inhibit cytochrome P450, an enzyme your body uses to metabolize certain medications.

If you eat grapefruit while taking these medications, your body may not be able to break them down, which could cause an overdose and other adverse effects.

The medications most likely to interact with grapefruit include:

Most calcium channel blockers

Some statins

If you are taking any of these medications, talk with your doctor before adding grapefruit to your diet.

Tooth Enamel Erosion

In some instances, eating grapefruit may lead to tooth enamel erosion.

Citric acid, which is found in citrus fruits, is a common cause of enamel erosion, especially if you consume it in excess.

If you have particularly sensitive teeth, you may need to avoid acidic fruits. However, there are some things you can do to preserve your tooth enamel while still enjoying grapefruit:

Never suck on grapefruit or other acidic fruits and avoid putting them directly against your teeth.

Rinse your mouth with water after eating the fruit and wait 30 minutes to brush your teeth.

Eat cheese with the fruit. This helps neutralize the acidity in your mouth and increase saliva production.

The Bottom Line

Grapefruit is one of the healthiest fruits on the planet. It's rich in important vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

overall, grapefruit is delicious and incredibly easy to add to your diet.

Understanding Mediumship

Posted by Beverley Anne Freeman on January 14, 2017 at 11:45 AM

“Spirit is pure love”

In essence all human beings are spirit; this means that within us is the potential to give and receive pure love. The term mediumship is the exchange of giving and receiving pure love energy via a two or three way connection between the spirit people and the earth plane. To be a successful medium is to be open to that process of giving and receiving of pure love and in doing so, become part of it.

Many people ask me, “can you develop mediumship or is it a gift you are born with?” It is my opinion that as we are all spirit, therefore it is perfectly natural to communicate with the spirit world; it is also the most natural thing in the world to connect with our own spirit energy. I do however believe that everyone has a path or a destiny in life, a job with their name on it. As such I do not think it’s within everyone’s life path to become a working medium. Just as everyone can sing a note to some degree or other but singing to the level of an operatic or having a musical career as magnificent as Michael Jackson for example, is not everyone’s destiny. So it is my understanding that yes everyone can develop that innate part within them that is spirit and in turn learn to communicate with the spirit people; however it may only be those people who are born to have a career as a medium who will do so.

Just as there are many genres of music there are also many different types of mediumship. I believe as we on the earth plane are learning more about spirit communication so too are the spirit world. They are using different methods to communicate with us and perfecting others. Mediumship can take on many forms including metal mediumship, trance, physical mediumship, spiritual healing, trance healing, animal communication, etc. Each person’s journey is unique and the way in which your mediumship develops, the type of mediumship you will practice and the journey as it unfolds will be different for each of you.

At many times during teaching people do I use examples of my own learning experiences which I hope will give you an insight into the journey of a medium. However, I must stress that your experiences will be different to mine. The learning is part of it. Spirit knows who you are, they know what your level is at any given moment and they know which direction you’re heading. Spirit will become your greatest teachers and the process which they choose to teach you is largely dependent on your responses. It is for this reason that I always recommend that you open yourself up to developing the relationship with your guide as a matter of great importance. I have dedicated a whole chapter in my new book to communicating with your guides as they will become your strongest allies.

An important point to remember is that your journey will not end, in that you will never stop developing as a medium. You will find that just as a method of communication becomes clear another practice will raise its head; as you start to work within one area of mediumship and feel confident no sooner will a different type of mediumship become available for development. Spirit will bring you opportunities on your journey to practice, get good and take it further. It’s a never-ending journey. Enjoy every moment of your journey. Embrace those moments when the evidence of survival is so precise, so clear that you prove without any reasonable doubt that you’re communicating with spirit. Equally it’s of paramount importance to know that when your communication feels weak, your evidence unclear this is a magnificent opportunity to learn. Know that spirit are with you every step of the way, helping you to understand the process of working with and on behalf of the spirit people.

When you are communicating with spirit and giving a person on the earth plane a message from a friend or relative that they dearly love and miss the feeling is like no other feeling in the world. It’s a high that cannot be attained by anything you could purchase legally or illegally on the street. Working for spirit is the highest honour; the most fulfilling of jobs and probably the best thing you will ever do in your life. I have to say I love my job which encompasses readings, demonstrating, teaching, healing and coaching people. Quite often I find myself counselling as well. It does have its lows though and you need to be tenacious to do the job well.

There will be times during your journey when you can’t see opportunities coming your way and then there at times when opportunities come your way and your connection is weak; you’re reading frustrating. It is important to give your best at all times and never beat yourself up if a reading or demonstration didn’t go as well as you would have liked. Trust is the key here because if you always know that spirit is with you, then they are with you when you fall flat on your face. They are watching over you as you work every moment and you have to trust them. It takes time to build up that trust so that you work in accordance with their plan and don’t question it. If you listen to spirit, accept your journey, take pride in your accomplishments, pick yourself up after each fall and take every opportunity to work for them you will not fail.

The other thing to remember when you are working as a medium is that you are working with the general public. People are funny things. You will meet wonderful people on your career path; you will meet sceptics, other mediums, outright opposers and those who are determined to make your job as difficult as possible. My advice is to treat everyone the same to begin with. Mediumship is not reading people so therefore if a person is ‘closed’ it doesn’t really matter. Spirit knows who they are, they are the ones giving you the information, you are not ‘reading’ anyone. You are simply passing on a message, the same as when the phone rings and you answer it on some else’s behalf. In fact, it may be helpful to switch off from the person sat in front and just tune completely into spirit. I will talk more about this later in the book but for now try to understand that the earth plane play a lesser part in the communication than you and the spirit people. All that is required from the person you are reading for is the love for the person in spirit. It is that love that brings them to communicate.

We as humans are made up of three very special elements: the mind, the body and the spirit. The spirit or the soul of a person is the very essence of their being; it’s the omnipresent connection with all life in the universe and beyond. A person’s soul lives in the human body, learning lessons and overcoming challenges, giving love and seeking out other souls in the world who need our help and in turn can help us. When we are ready, we return home into the world of spirit where our loved ones on the other side are waiting for us with open arms and eternal love.

Mediumship’s primary purpose is to prove that the spirit world is a very real place with immeasurable potential and constant support that is offered to all those on the earth plane. However, mediumship is so much more than this and it is through the exploration of spiritualism that we seek both answers and limitless understanding about life and our purpose both as humans and souls.

As humans and as spirit are individuals; we have our own characteristics and personalities. As such, the way in which we connect with spirit is unique and can vary from medium to medium and spirit to spirit. It is the reason why mediumship has so many facets and can appear in so many miraculous ways from healing, to physical mediumship, trance and the more commonly demonstrated; mental mediumship. Spirit communicates to us and through us in the way that they feel is most comfortable for the individual medium and for the spirit who is attempting the communication.

As my mind wanders through the history of spiritualism in the modern world I think about the uniquely talented mediums, Helen Duncan and Estelle Roberts. These ladies were physical mediums and demonstrated the phenomena of full materialisation mediumship, where a substance called ectoplasm would flow from the mouth of the medium (and other orifices) and become a solid form of spirit that would be able to walk round the room and touch individuals in the séance room and pass on accurate messages to those present. I myself have witnessed trance sessions where wonderful, spiritual guides would speak through the medium with wisdom and knowledge of both worlds whilst the medium would sit relaxed, in a semi-conscious state. The purpose of trance mediumship is to help us on the earth plane understand why we are here and to help us create a more peaceful and productive world.

Healing and mental mediumship, although more commonly observed are by no means lesser forms of mediumship but are here to touch our everyday lives and prove beyond all reasonable doubt that the spirit world is real. In conclusion, mediumship is connection with home, the place where we came from, the place we will return to and a place of eternal love and peace. Mediumship is there to aid human survival, help us learn and calm us when our faith is tested. Mediumship is a diamond with many facets, a diamond that through our own spirit is within all of us, waiting to be polished so it may shine as brightly as our true self always will.
